Long before a single design was sketched, Crystal’s grandmother, Lillie Mae Hill Smith, and her husband dared to dream beyond their circumstances. From a reconstructed trailer in their front yard, they founded the California Bargain Center - a small textile and shoe business that became a pillar of their community.


Each day, they opened their doors with faith and determination, proving that with hard work and heart, anything could be built from the ground up. MAEHILL was born from that same spirit. Every piece in our collection carries their story - a tribute to those who came before us and a reminder that luxury is not just what you wear, but what you embody. After all, MAEHILL is more than a name - it’s a legacy.
